Reichhold announces price increases effective for all orders shipped on or after October 1, 2011 in Europe.
Reichhold are forced to increase the prices due to the drastic upward trend of the prices of key raw materials. Overall market conditions remain volatile with tight availability.
In light of this situation, we are announcing a 200 EUR/MT price increase on all White Gelcoat Resins, a 100 EUR/MT price increase on all Pastel coloured Gelcoat Resins and a 50 EUR/MT price increase on all Dark coloured Gelcoat Resins. This applies to all Gelcoat Resins shipped on or after October 1, 2011.
While these volatile raw material market conditions continue, we will revise our specific product prices with individual customers on a monthly basis.
We count on our customers’ understanding of these difficult market conditions as we work to minimize the effect of rising material costs upon our product pricing.
Since these market conditions are not expected to change in the near future, these price increases are necessary to enable us to continue to make the investments required to supply high quality, innovative products to support our customers efforts to develop and improve their products and create added value.
