These new investments come in response to new orders to supply over 10,000 tonnes to the wind turbine industry.
The Chomarat Group is an international textile group with around 1,200 employees. It is a private company, owned by the Chomarat family and has been run for over a century by 4 succeeding generations.
In 2014 Chomarat made similar improvements to its Taicang plant (near Shanghai) in China. The Group is now able to supply its multi-axial reinforcements across Europe, Asia and the Americas. The aim of the Group is to pursue its development by offering a competitive range designed for the wind turbine sector and all other high-volume markets such as the transportation and marine industries.
