AOC have announced that they will increase prices In the United States & Canada
The prices will rise US$0.07/lb in the U.S. and CN$0.155 per kilo in Canada for all vinyl ester and unsaturated polyester resins. In addition, prices for gel coats and pigments will increase up to US$0.07/lb in the U.S. and up to CN$0.155 per kilo in Canada. All increases are effective for shipments on and after February 13, 2012.
This action is due to higher prices for several raw materials. Raw material cost increases are driven by rising demand, increased feedstock costs and a stronger export market for petrochemicals produced in U.S. These conditions are expected to continue throughout the first quarter of 2012.
