HELM AG to Service Jushi’s European Key Thermoplastics Accounts

HELM AG have announced the appointment of Michael Effing (AMAC) to advise, promote and further develop the introduction and distribution of Jushi Group ́s thermoplastic glass fibre business to the European market. The cooperation is focused on following territories: Germany, Switzerland, Austria and st Benelux.

As of December 1 2012, Michael Effing, who just launched his own company, AMAC, in October, will thus act as advisor and share his expertise in the complete thermoplastic product portfolio (Chopped Strands and LFT roving).

In the context of the extension of Jushi ́s presence in Europe, the worldwide Chinese glass fibre producer is to open a new production plant in Northern Egypt within 2013. The plant with a total planned capacity of 200,000 tons (start in phase 1 with 80,000 tons in 2013) aims to serve as strategic facility to intensify Jushi ́s export business to Europe, as well as Middle East and India. In this plant, Jushi will produce the full range of chopped strands and LFT roving thermoplastics, exclusively developed for and dedicated to the European Market. This plant is Jushi ́s first investment outside of China, as well as the first step in globalisation.

Jushi is coming closer to the European customers, the main production focus of our new facility near Cairo will be on thermoplastics for applications in the Automotive, Electrical and Electronic Sector, and in the Building and Construction market segments. Direct contact in technical service and application development will also be organized for the European customers. We intend to offer our customers a new capacity in the proximity to the European market
