A team of University of Michigan researchers are exploring the use of knitted textiles for the creation of composite structures in order to have greater control over their form and function, as well as improve the efficiency of their development. This interdisciplinary team is made up of researchers from the University of Michigan College of Engineering and the Taubman School of Architecture and Urban Planning.
