Quatro Composites Opens New Facility Expansion

Quatro Composites hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony last week to open the company’s new $11.8 million expansion project.

Quatro Composites specialises in designing and fabricating advanced composite structures for commercial aerospace, unmanned aerial vehicles and medical equipment manufacturers. The company’s recent growth has been driven by several contracts from aerospace suppliers to produce carbon composite structures for the new 787 Dreamliner airplane.

The new expansion will add around 45,000 square feet of additional space, almost doubling Quatro’s existing manufacturing facilities with an additional 99 jobs expected to be created as a result of the expansion.

The expansion was made possible, in part, by $1.5 million in direct financial assistance from the Iowa Economic Department Authority (IEDA).
