Lamborghini Is First Automaker Certified for Carbon Fibre Repairs

Italian super car maker Lamborghini has received certification from TÜV for its carbon fibre car repair service over the entire product range. The company manages the entire carbon fibre composite processes in-house, from simulation to design, production, testing, quality control, and repair.

Due to the large amount of carbon fibre composites in its cars, Lamborghini established a repair service for its customers back in 2011 following the launch of its carbon fibre clad Aventador. With an emphasis on customer service the repair team in some cases will even fly out to fix cars, avoiding the hassle of shipping them back to Italy.

The certificate which is the first to be issued to an automotive manufacturer was awarded for the accountability, traceability, reliability, punctuality and accuracy of the service following a number of audits performed by the assessors.

President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini Stephan Winkelmann said;

Quality is a fundamental value in our company philosophy and underlies our success. We are therefore proud to be the first automotive company on a global level to receive this certification, which marks a further milestone in achieving the complete satisfaction of each and every customer.
