Lyons Motors Prepare to Launch its Carbon Fibre Streamliner

American manufacturer Lyons motor cars debut its latest creation at this years New York auto show and is packed with some pretty impressive stats

The LM2 Streamliner is powered by a 1,700 horsepower twin-turbo V8 engine which accelerates from 0 to 60mph in just 2.2 seconds and has a top speed of 290mph. The car is equipped with a seven speed sequential gearbox, brembo carbon ceramic disk brake rotors and a bosh ABS system.

Although not a lot of information has been revealed yet, we do know that the LM2 will be packed to the rafters with composites and features a carbon fibre body with full length carbon chassis and a mix of carbon and billet stainless steel for the subframes.

The LM2 comes equipped with an advanced microprocessor controlled electrical system which allows you to program the car from the your iPhone or mobile device. Any system can be programmed to work simultaneously with any other, for example the wing can be deployed as the suspension lowers and the door can be opened when it detects you coming from its built in proximity sensors. Inside the car sits a 16″ inch touch screen control centre that controls navigation, bluetooth, premium infotainment system and a bunch of other settings.
