Meet Lamborghini’s Latest Monster the Aventador Superveloce

Thanks to the extensive use of carbon fibre the boffins in the lab have managed to shave off a further 50kgs, add this to the V12 engine that produces around 750bhp and you have a car with a power to weight ratio of 2,03 kg/hp. All these figures mean it will accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in around 2.8 seconds with a top speed of over 217 mph.

On the outside Lambo have beefed up the supercars aerodynamics to provide optimal road-holding properties, and offers 170% more downforce compared to the standard Aventador. Whilst they were round the back-end they also redesigned the cars exhaust system improving overall responsiveness and giving the car a lovely grumble at lower revs.

Visitors to the inside of the car will see that nearly all of the Aventador’s standard luxury features have been stripped away to save weight, with more of the carbon fibre monocoque on show. This beast is expected to hit the showrooms later on in the year and will set you back well over €300,000
