This amazing fibreglass off road vehicle is the creating of Peter Wheeler, owner of British sports car manufacturer TVR, sadly Peter has passed away but his wife rounded up a team of engineers and made his dream become a reality.

  1. if the guy who developed this is the former boss of TVR… it explains A LOT. in both the good and the bad!!!

  2. What we’re watching here, is an absolute waste of money, hard work, and time. I mean, yeah, the design is awesome, it can “swim”.. but it’s almost as long as a limo, and as low as a nissan murano.. you can’t take this vehicle rock crawling, or mud bogging. if this is supposed to be the ultimate off road vehicle, it should do that and more.. It’s just not that great..

  4. It doesn’t have THAT much suspension travel and it seems too long, low, and wide. Notice how tentatively Harry dries it on the rough stuff. On soft sand or mud it’d be hopeless, whereas a Meyer’s Manx or other dune buggy would keep on going. This thing seems too confining and noisy. In low-traction environments the driver needs to be in the open where he can apply his senses to the quest for grip. Once again I think a dune buggy has this beat in every department but the “gee whiz” factor. Harry

  6. As much as i agree with you, i also have to point out: What if that random human thought horses where scary/stupid/pointless?

  7. thats insanely cool. im so glad theres people with that sort of imagination to push the limits!!!

  8. OMFG, That thing looks like and the engineering and aerodynamics is like something out of a Scifi. But someone actually built it in real life. Shut Up and Take My Money!!!

  12. You think the first car that was made was fast? So that was a waste of money making the the first car because it was slow right? No, over time we progressed to making cars faster & faster because of that invention. Use some commonsense!

  15. “SUCH A SMOOTH RIDE” (guy bumping his head to the glass and roof) clank clonk clank sounds all over the place LOL i dont want to know what a non smooth ride is for this guy…..

  16. you are right, this is one of the most amazing cars i have ever seen. Absolutley unique and pure dreams. The fact that this things exists gives me hope.

  17. I guess I have to give the design some credit but for everything else… I don’t know.It looks and sounds like a Corn Harvester beeing molded into the shape of a Sportscar.

  18. A cart and horse were never meant for each other but someone put them together and it revolutionised transporting things to market. The steam engine was never designed for vehicles but it was put on one and it lead to a revolution in transport. Most things since have been developments rather than new ideas. Wht not put them together? It may lead nowhere but who knows if no one tries?

  19. Yeah you are totally right man. FUCK INVENTION! Let’s just all stay at this age of technology and never advance! FUCK SCIENCE! *sarcasm* incase you are too stupid to know.

  20. Wow, it didn’t look like it, but the car is actually a good swimmer. I expected it to be slow and hard to control in water.

  21. Thinking that it was made for speed hay … thats a good way to think about it -.-“There is no need to be meen to other people. Play Nice o.o

  22. So what would you invest it in? Drugs? A prostitute? It’s a one off vehicle. This kind of project is the reason we have cars at all. If no one bothered to push the limits and try new things we would still be on horses. You’re the idiot because all you’re good for is shouting down someone else’s hard work. At least Mcdonalds will have an employee for life when you leave school.

  23. Never said I could do better, but that much money invested into a piece of shit is a waste of time. also, you’re a fucking idiot. LOL because neither you can do better.

  24. Or else you can weld the suspension together, fully seal the whole car, put foam all around the engine and put a 225hp outboarder on the back :DThough… I get the feeling that someone else have done that already.

  25. I dont even know why you are taking this so seriously on youtube, does it really matter, what I say is not hurting you. Are you hurt by what I said? if you are you are the person that needs to come to planet earth my friend. Have a good day little man.

  26. This vehicle would be spectacular for any moron who doesn’t know when to stop driving on flooded roads…. It could also make for one amazing rescue vehicle!

  27. In Urdu/Hindi, ‘Samander’ translates to ‘sea’, I thought it would be pronounced the same (despite the c) and named so because of where it can take you 😛

  28. What more could you want? Well we’re closing in on 2015, and according to Back to the Future 2 we should have flying cars by then.

  29. I JUST WANT 1, and i will put it through its paces all over Australia’s WIDE VARIED LAND ….mind glowingly amazing piece of true multi tasking engineering and development…melting into THE most awesome vehicle i have ever seen…come on guys, let’s put it to the ULTIMATE TEST’s !!! ….come on over, let ME do things to it and take it places you’s only ever dreamed about, to prove once and for all its TRUE WORTH.

  30. 11:30 That swan is like : “Really? You gonna drive a car into water? Are you crazy? OK, everything went better than expected.”

  31. I’m sorry but those fans r to loud. “It’s fine when your on the road”. Y the hell would i take it on the road if it’s 5 times as fun off road. There should be a way to give it the proper amount of cooling without having so much noise. Maybe water bearing and look into stuff done for PC-s as there a ton was invested to make sure u get as much as u can with little noise. Examples NOCTUA and SILVERSTONE.

  32. Such an awesome vehicle, but get the camera on the outside of the car so we can see it drive… float. They did not even show it come out of the water. Bah, so annoying, could have been a really awesome car review and debut.

  33. Ugly as fuck, but still kinda… too ugly and futuristic so it’s kinda good looking as well. Reminds me some futuristic car what you drive in Mars one day 😀 I want one.

  34. yeah the benchmark should be i.e the 2013 200MPH capable shelby gt500 and the shelby1000 i lack imaginatioon well how bout this…i imagine u being a wierdo adult trying make arguements outa anything so get over yourself

  35. Great…so the benchmark for all future automotive projects needs to be a Ford. You shouldn’t even be on this page because you lack imagination, art and vision.

  37. Wow look at all the hate in here. Guys even if someone gives you a million dollar funding to do something remarkable. All you would be able to do is shit compared to this.

  38. Coptit magnifique et la fermeture tu toit aussu avec la possibilité de charger en plus sortirai en diesel sans pouvoir aller dans l’eau j’acheterai breff bon design j’en veux lol

  39. The fans inside would get on my damn nerves. High pitched whine in your ear just sitting there? No that’s not terribly enjoyable.

  40. Well, I doubt a Subaru could attack the moorland in the same way that did, if not for ground clearance, then suspension travel alone.
